My passion is photography, and I have built that passion into a comprehensive professional photography business which offers a full-range of services.

At Barry Weinberg Photography I offer photography services for weddings and special events, portraits, classic, custom and restored cars, sports cars and trucks, insurance, personal injury, medical malpractice, legal and estate inventory.

My studio in Gloversville features the latest state-of-the-art photographic and lighting equipment.  It has two parts: a studio for individual and group portraits and a second studio for insurance companies and estate documentation.  I offer the most comprehensive service in Fulton, Montgomery and Hamilton counties.

There are many photographers that do weddings and portraits. What differentiates me from them is that I also do insurance work where I go to people’s homes or they can bring their items to my studio where I do macro-photography for collections, jewelry, and anything of value.  I’ve photographed Civil War rifles, coin collections and antique jewelry. Anything folks need to show formal documentation of ownership.  After I finish, the owners receive a disk and a complete written inventory of their valuables.  I recommend that they store the disk and written inventory at an offsite location.  They need to do this before disaster strikes.  Law enforcement agencies and local insurance companies have endorsed my inventory photos because it makes police work easier in recovering lost items as well as for insurance companies for processing claims.

To stay current in the field, I belong to the Professional Photographers Association of America and the New York State Society of Professional Photographers. Not only do they provide training workshops but they also offer an exchange of ideas and mentoring opportunities.
